André Bergström Engineering (ABE) is a consultant company started by André Bergström 2023 in Stockholm, Sweden. Our focus is development of screw displacement machines such as screw compressors, three-screw, multiphase (twin-screw type) and vacuum pumps.

ABE has a solid network of employed and former employees from IMO Pump, SRM (Svenska Rotor Maskiner), and Universities. In this way, there is an extensive source of expertise in the technical, commercial and production technology areas. A well selected network of sub-consultants e.g. design engineers, can be provided to reduce the lead time at larger design projects.

André has worked:

13,5 years at SRM (Svenska Rotor Maskiner) mainly as Production manager. SRM is a development company mainly within compressor technology and the inventor of the screw compressor. In addition to manage the production department André worked with rotor profile design, rotor production technology, compressor and screw pump development, special tools for rotor production and development of a CNC tool grinding machine.

12 years at IMO Pumps mainly as Technical Manager (CTO). IMO is the inventor of the three-screw pump and today a part of Circor. In addition to the normal work as a CTO, André worked intensively with rotor profiles, performance calculations and rotor production technologies.

2,5 years at Torell Pump mainly as Managing director (CEO). At Torell Pump André was mainly selling Allweiler pumps.
